What teachers say about Geostuff
‘Margaret’s workshops are presented in an informative and energetic manner. Material used at these is up to date and relevant for use with classes. I have found Margaret’s resources to be well presented, appropriate, time saving and well worth purchasing.’
Margaret Williams, Waitaki Girls’ High School
'Most interesting and useful course I've ever been to! It was really fun. I will be a happier and more fun teacher from now on.'
Sarah Robinson, Timaru Girls’ High School at a ‘Geography Energisers’ workshop.
‘You are like a breath of fresh air in the Geography classroom. The practical nature of your advice, ideas and resources ensures they are value for money, as they can be used again and again. Everything we have purchased from "Geostuff" has been easy to access, relevant and up-to-date. We look forward to your emails promoting the new products!’
Jude McKenzie, Craighead Diocesan School
An informative and interesting PD day for Geographers in Palmerston North - it was relevant, useful and up-to-date. As well as being able to purchase very good resources you get the opportunity to network with fellow teachers and quiz Margaret about what is happening in Geography/Social Sciences. This is by far one of the best PD days I have done. I organised for Margaret to run another workshop in Nelson so that my department and the region could benefit. This resulted in my department updating several assessments through World Vision resources.
Dion Mant, Waimea College
“The end of year Revision Packs are an amazing resource which students grab with both hands. They are a fantastic preparation for externals! And as a workshop facilitator Margaret is right up to date with curriculum development and uses highly interactive ways to involve students.”
John Turnbull, Mt. Aspiring College
I have purchased several resources from Geostuff over the past two years and have been impressed with the quality of the material. Margaret knows the realities of busy teachers lives and creates user friendly resources pitched at the right level for us to pick up and use. Yay – it’s about time we all stopped reinventing the wheel!
Amanda Cox, Botany Downs Secondary College
Margaret has been fantastic in terms of providing resources, running courses and helping teachers when they require Professional Development.
This year Margaret ran a World Vision resource course due to the interest I had in the resources, and she came all the way to Hawkes Bay for a day to help myself and another teacher with our Geography assessments.
Margaret is also only an email away if we need to ask her any questions. I could not ask for anyone better than Margaret.
Catherine Spence, St. Joseph’s Maori Girls’ College
