This internal achievement standard looks at the Level 2 contemporary geographic issue of Freedom Camping – the issue, the various viewpoints, evaluating courses of action and making a justified recommendation.
It investigates the issue of Freedom Camping in New Zealand. New Zealand is a beautiful country – some freedom campers respect the environment while others do not. Freedom camping is permitted in many places in New Zealand but the rules vary in each community. This assessment allows students to inquire into various points of views and what solutions there possibly might be.
Use as a standalone assessment which gives students a broader concept of Geography
